Dr. Kenric Nelson is an expert in AI governance, risk-aware decision systems, and decentralized community governance. He is the Founder and President of Photrek, which is developing a Risk Governance platform to facilitate community forecasting and mitigation of catastrophic risks. In the EC2 project, he contributes expertise in AI governance, risk management, and equitable, ethically aligned decision-making in AI-supported democratic systems.

Mr. Vicente Rubén Del Pino Ruiz is Senior Director of AI and Data Engineering at UnitedHealth Group. He is an expert in scalable data and AI systems, with a strong focus on ethical AI governance and responsible data practices. In the EC2 project, he contributes expertise in AI governance, risk management, and the responsible deployment of AI systems aligned with EU ethical principles and societal impact goals.
Prof. Andreas Roepstorff is Professor of Cognition, Communication, and Culture at Aarhus University and Director of the Interacting Minds Centre. Trained in biology and social anthropology, his research integrates neuroscience and anthropology to study how human thought is shaped by cultural practice, technology, and social context, with a particular focus on collaboration, consciousness, and communication.
Within EC², he contributes expertise in cognition and collaboration in collective decision-making, human–technology interaction in AI-supported tools, and the ethical and cultural dimensions of technological interventions in democratic settings.
Dr. Leo Mršić is Vice Rector for Science and Research at Algebra University and Director of the Algebra LAB Research and Innovation Center. He is an expert in AI ethics, data governance, and digital transformation, with over 25 years of experience across academia and industry.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computing/Mathematics, an M.Sc. in Economics, and certifications in AI Systems Implementation (ISO 42001) and Program Management (IPMA Level A). A permanent court expert in finance, accounting, and IT since 2004, he combines technical expertise, leadership, and interdisciplinary insight.
Within EC², he contributes to alignment with EU ethical standards and data protection regulations, with particular attention to AI systems implementation and societal impact.
